不过还有两个疑问：1、您确定没有as same as? 那有as the same as 或是the same as 或是same as 吗? 2、为什么departure一定要用复数，是习惯性的？还是根据本句所要表达的意思来判断的？

1、应该这样说，有 as same as 不过听起来很别扭，外国人不太用的。
As the same as / same as 不对的。最地道的说法就是，the same as、

My dress is the same as hers.
My food taste the same as hers.
My ticket cost as much as his ticket.

2、Departure 一定要用复数，因为你后面说 not be as frequent / will not be frequent
意思是，“火车来的次数不多”，就意味着火车会来很多次，所以得用复数的 departures、

same as 在口语中应该是用到的吧？如: "Same as ever" and "Same as usual"

恩，口语里用到的。

A: How's your day?
B: Same as ever.

其实前面应该加个 the 可是口语里就不管了，直接漏掉。
