Insured is a sudden and unforeseen material damage resulting from inherent defect of:
The solar panels until a20 years after construction year;
The inverters until 7,5 years after construction year.

The policy also covers loss of production resulting from inherent defect.
In the event of a valid claim, labour costs for (de)installation and associated transport costs shall also be reimbursed
Warranty
Should it appear in case of a loss or damage that a supplier or manufacturer disputes his liability or that he wholly or partially fails to comply with his obligations towards the insured for longer than 12 months, the insurers will grant to the insured an interest-free loan equal to the amount which would have been charged against this insurance if the warranty exclusion mentioned above had not been applicable.
Reimbursement of this loan only has to take place in so far as recovery from the supplier or manufacturer in question succeeds. This compensation is granted subject to the explicit reservation that the insured shall provide full co-operation regarding those steps which the insurers deem useful and/or necessary to recover the loss or damage from the supplier or manufacturer, including the conducting of possible court proceedings in the name of the insured but for the account of the insurers.
If the insured proves that the supplier or manufacturer does not fulfill his warranty obligations due to bankruptcy, the 12 months period does not apply.
In the event of a valid claim, labour costs for (de)installation and associated transport costs shall also be reimbursed.
