Man’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a growth. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for (= what will happen to) me. When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job. Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I will combine learning with doing. If I can achieve this “future”, I think that I really grow up. And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future. How to say future? Maybe it’s a nice wish. Lets make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life.

Vanities equal to nothing
I think a lot of us know the story of “The Miller, His Son, and Their Donkey”. It is a story filled with wisdom. After reading this story, I truly understood that willing to please will make you end up with nothing.
Miller changed his mind really quickly, not because he could not make any decisions, because he liked to please everyone. I think he is really foolish, because he did not what he really wanted. His vanity was really strong. When he heard the girls said that they were fools because they had donkey but they did ride it, he put his son on the donkey. He did that not because he thought he did the wrong thing because he wanted to please the girls. He wanted the girls to think that he was smart, not a foolish. He thought another people’s opinion was more important than his.
When the old men said that his son disrespected him. He let himself on Donkey. He was the person who let the boy ride on the donkey. He knew that his son didn’t disrespect him, but this was not important, because another disagreed with him. He didn’t care how he felt about himself, but he did how another people thought about him. Even though they did not judge him correctly he still wanted to change himself.
When the women and children called him the lazy bone, he changed himself again, but he still could not realized that different people had different opinions. You were not able to please all of them. Everyone had his or his own standard. He should follow his. Changing himself for pleasing another people was pointless. You could not get anything from it.

He could not stop pleasing another people. When a townsman gave him his suggestion, he changed again. He and his son were carrying the donkey. I cannot believe that the miller was doing the ridicules thing just for pleasing people. When the miller man kept changing himself, he really needed to think a question: What did you get from pleasing and what was your purpose?
Finally the sad thing happened to him. Because of the ridicules thing he had done, his donkey got scared and drowned. The Miller’s purpose was to sell the donkey, but when he was walking with his son. His whole purpose became to please people. He did not think anything about the donkey. Donkey died, and he got nothing. I think it taught him a lesson: willing to please will make you end up with nothing.
When we are trying to make a decision, we need to think what is the whole purpose of my behavior. Is it necessary or is it just for pleasing people. If it is for pleasing people, you need to stop, because we already know the rustle now. It will end up with nothing.
