The Multiple Intelligence Theory was proposed by Howard Gardner, a psychological development academic in Harward Graduate School of Education in 1983. He pointed out that multiple intelligence includes linguistic intelligence, logical and mathematical intelligence, spatial intelligence, bodily kinetic intelligence, musical intelligence, interpersonal intelligence and introspection intelligence. He mentioned that people can have different combinations of these intelligence and effective education must take into account of the diversity and broadness of different intelligence so as to give equal attention to the nurturing and development of different aspects in students. Multimedia coursewares are advantageous to break through the difficult and important checkpoints in textbooks, break the ice during classroom interactions, encourage students to partcipate in the classroom activities, and improve the teaching results. The paper take an example from the designing and production of multimedial courseware of theTeaching System Design based on the Multiple Intelligence Theory to illustrate the application of the Multiple Intelligence Theory and the process of creating and fabrication of multimedia coursewares.
