一个较难的英语句子的解释，不是高手勿进

My job gives me free range of a sort. As much as you can find nowadays.

合起来free range of a sort就是一种自由的范围，根据整句话的意思跟工作有关，自然就是工作给了我某种自由发展的天地，基本意思就是这样。
3、as much as you can find nowadays这个分句这么理解：as much as是尽可能多的，最大限度的， you can find是你能找到的，nowadays时间状语现在、当今，意译通观起来就是“当今能得到的最大的天地”

free range 原本指放牧的牧场，这本书前面提到了，在这句话里引申为给主人公的自由空间
of a sort 有两种含义：1 是属于某个种类，也就是网上给出的翻译，我认为是错误的。
2是 一般的 不怎么样的 勉强算是 的意思，从后面的句子中看出，主人公显然对这种自由的程度感到不满，渴求更多（a little wistful），所以网上给出的译文应该是不准确的。
as much as...:这句话我认为就是说，这也就是当今能获得的最大自由空间了。
