答案上翻译是组织如果不将注意力集中于他们期望的结果就不会蓬勃发展，正如个人没有目标感就不会茁壮成长一样。
按这个意思来讲，这里原文中an individual can thrive 的can应该改成cannot才对呀？

can not……any more than……的意思就是：“不会比……好到哪里去”、“不会超过……”，这个not其实并不是否定 can或thrive的，而是否定any more 的，not …any more than=no more than

等于：

我读清楚了，这么理解：

这个是说”个人在没有目标的情况下能成长多少“，成长被量化了来做比较。比如这个量是X,
这个X应该很小，因为人没目标，成长就小嘛。

Organiztions cannot thrive (条件) any more than X.
组织在这些条件下的成长还多不过X.
什么样的条件呢 —— 如果不将注意力集中于他们的最终目的
