One possible version:      On March 16th, 2011, Beijing Foreign Language Festival was held at Beijing Working People's Cultural Palace.      Aimed at developing foreign language skills, expanding international vision and building a world city, Beijing Foreign Language Festival was held in Beijing for the 12th time. This year the festival focused on foreign language learning. Many famous foreign language experts attended the festival. They gave lectures, which helped visitors to learn the latest information about foreign language education and studying abroad. During the festival visitors could also watch wonderful performances and take part in foreign language shows and fun games.      The two-day festival attracted lots of people in Beijing.
