几个英语问题~！

My parents called the police,but they can't find anything strange.这句话里的can't可不可以换成couldn't？为什么？
He said "She can't be here."(这里的can't表推测）如果转换成间接引语 是He said she couldn't be here.吗？还是He said she can't be here. ? 为什么？
Why do you think the man is running?这句话翻译成“你认为这个男人为什么跑步？” 我觉得如果翻译成“你为什么觉得这个男人跑步？”也可以啊 可正确的翻译是前者 为什么不能翻译成后者呢？
I like music that I can dance to.这句话对music进行了特指，为什么music前不加the呢？
He didn't do his homework.他没做作业。那么 “他的确没做”是翻译成“Neither he did”吗？ （so是这样用 我觉得neither可能也能这样用）对吗？？？？
He lost the book he bought last week.这句话翻译成“他丢了他上个星期买的书”还是“上个星期他丢了他买的书” （我觉得都可以啊）
It is less of a problem to be poor than to be dishonest. 能不能分析一下这个句子结构和句子成分？ of前面应该是名词啊 为什么用less呢？

My parents called the police,but they can't find anything strange.这句话里的can't应该换成couldn't 否则 时态不一致 就会出现逻辑错误
He said "She can't be here."(这里的can't表推测）如果转换成间接引语 可以是He said she couldn't be here. 也可以是He said she can't be here. 如果是随即转述的话
Why do you think the man is running?这句话翻译成“你认为这个男人为什么跑步？” 不能 翻译成“你为什么觉得这个男人跑步？” 因为 do you think是插入语 可以去掉 =Why is the man running？如果翻译成后者 应该是 Why do you think that the man is running?
I like music that I can dance to.虽然定语从句对music进行了限定 但仍然属于类指
如果 加the 特指也可以，music前不加the 也正确
再如 a plane is a machine that can fly.不定冠词表示类指
He didn't do his homework.他没做作业。那么 “他的确没做”不能翻译成“Neither he did”因为意思不一样 （so这样用 是有条件的 neither不能这样用 因为二者的词性不一样）
如 her mother asked him to do his home work ,so he did.
her mother asked him not to do his home work ,so he didn't.

He lost the book he bought last week.这句话翻译成“他丢了他上个星期买的书”还是“上个星期他丢了他买的书” （是都可以 但一般 状语修饰靠近的动词）

It是主语 is是系动词 less是形容词 作表语 后面的介词短语 作状语
of a problem to be poor 后面 是省略的比较状语从句 than to be dishonest.
of前可以是 形容词 如 he is afraid of dogs
