目前来讲,欧美游戏对于系统配置越来越高,而DOOM3是目前要求最高的,其次是<上古卷轴4>.
FX5200显卡已经算是低档次的显卡,而且已经停产,这款显卡连<上古4>都无法运行.更何况DOOM3了.
如果你注意的话,运行该游戏的显卡问题在该游戏推出不久就频频出现。
官方的解释是,DOOM之父John Carmack曾经透露GeForce FX系列显卡将可以用5种不同的模式来运行DOOM3,分别是ARB(最少额外功能、不含镜面光照特殊效果、无vertex程序)、NV10(完整功能、5道渲染程序)、NV20(完整功能、2或3次渲染程序)、NV30(完整功能、单次渲染程序)以及ARB2。
而时隔这么久,随着GeForce 6800Ultra的发布,很多人开始猜测DOOM3的运行模式是否会有变化呢?
John Carmack表示,DOOM3将会去掉之前的NV30特效渲染模式,原因是目前的NV3X显卡配合最新的驱动后,在标准的ARB2模式(ARB=(OpenGL)Architecture Review Board)已经可以取得和之前NV30特效模式一样的速度。
最关键的是,正如 John Carmack所表示的那样,在DOOM3最主要的是可以通过牺牲画质来取得出色的速度,完美灵活的vertex/fragment programs/Cg界面将可以令以前的硬件同样运行DOOM3。
唯一的办法就是更换显卡.
