There are many works recording the American Blacks' misery, but after reading "Roof", I'm still stunned with what they suffer. The book not only brings me an iceberg of African culture, but also let me learn about the Negros' miserable experience and their important role in the history. I gained a lot from this epic novel. The book descrip many well-rounded portrayal of characters, such as Master's attitude to his Black Servant. In total seven generation was narrated step by step. For Kanda, from a free African aboriginal to a black slave, from rebelious to yielding. For the slave's Master, they also keep changing. I know from this book that each culture has its meaning to exist, which include these undeveloping culture; I also know a little American history from it. Anyway, the book is much worthy of reading.

Despite a number of works recorded the suffering of African-American, but read the "root" cause is still our hearts for their suffering and tremor. Kan, "to not only my culture corner of Africa, and black slaves in the United States in the history of what happened and they play an important role in this epic novel to me with a lot of gains and moved its Many people are full of points, such as the treatment of black slaves the masters of Wallerian the kind of attitude, and Murray masters of the experience of seven books on behalf of the Chinese people, whether black or white, they are ladder-style, but Kang Tat, from free trade to Africa, indigenous, from submission to the resistance are step-by-step; they are also the masters is constantly changing, it can be said that it's too much. In this book I understand that each civilization has the meaning of his existence, including those of less developed civilization, but also the history of the United States came to realize that, a word of this book is very much worth a visit for.
