Carbon nanotube(CNT) has tremendous advantages in many aspects, such as mechanics,calorifics,electrics and so on,with its great performance superiority and extensive potential application in hydrogen storage.However, its deficiencies in pactical application have become a urgent problem to be solved. With the superior performance of carbon nanotubes in mechanical, thermal, electrical, and potential applications in hydrogen storage area, but its deficiency in practical application has become an urgent problem to be solved. This paper reviews the preparation methods of carbon nanotubes in recent years and hydrogen storage properties, under different conditions at the same time, analyses the influence of hydrogen storage test method and test device for hydrogen storage properties. But the various test methods and apparatus are still not perfect, the results of the test and accuracy influence. Therefore, this paper focuses on the analysis and Study on the performance of hydrogen storage in carbon nanotubes, prospect of test standards to establish a unified and accurate method, in order to improve the hydrogen storage and test results.
