The widow and her two dogs
In Brighton,a seaside resort on the south coast, lived an old widow with her two dogs,The widow was very rich and the two dogs were enormousbeats that barked whenever anyone approched their mistress.When she fell ill and could not look after herself any longer,the doctor told her to move into a hotel where she wuould be cared for.The manager of the hotel,seeing that the old lady was very ill and knowing that she had no relatives,decided to become her friend so that when she died she would leave him her money.To please her the manager used to feed the tw grateful to the manager, besause she loved her dogs very much.
A few months later the old lady died and the manager went to see her solictior to find out what she had left him in her will.
The solictor told him that she had given all her money to the RSPCA,but had left the manager what she loved best: her two dogs.
