Keeping both my hands on the rope, I hadn't notice that the rope had coil around my left wrist

As the rope dug deeper into my wrist I let out a squeal and was jerk over the side. Now I was tangling off the side of the boat by only my wrist and my feet just barely dragging in the water. I tried and tried to get my other hand on the rope to relieve some of the tension off my wrist. Every time I was close a wave would hit my feet and twist me around banging into the side of the ship.

My hand was turning blue for lack of circulation and I could feel my wrist was being pulled apart from my arm. I scream out in pain every-time a wave hit my feet and jerk my body.
