首先描述了中日两国农产品贸易基本情况，中国是日本第二大的农产品进口来源国，日本是中国最大的农产品出口目标国;其次根据联合国统计司的数据，分析了中日主要农产品贸易结构的变化趋势，从分析中可以看出经过加工的肉类产品，海鲜产品对日出口明显增长，新鲜蔬菜水果对日出口近年来明显下降，谷物及谷粉对日出口比重小于由谷物加工制成的食品，茶叶这类传统对日出口产品面临着新的挑战;最后针对这些趋势，分析了其产生的原因，并提出相应的对策。
