Pollution in California is destroying our environment and it is also damaging our health. The dirty air that we breathe threatens our health. Also, food may polluted by pesticides or fertilizers which could affect our health if we eat them. Moreover, ocean pollution makes the ocean a landfill and we are destroying the marine life ecosystem.

In California, air quality has decreased because of the chemicals and toxic air that released by coal plants and some factories. These toxic airs destroyed our environment in many ways. We could smell awful odor released by building material when we stay in the room, and same smells, which released by those plants and cars, are pervade in the atmosphere when we go outside to have fun with friends. Also, these airs usually contain some harmful gases which could destroy the ozone layer and even lead the global warming. Furthermore, these airs do not only hurt environment around us, they even threaten our health. The chemicals released by building material could make people easier get sick, or cause headache or other kinds of diseases if they are strong enough. On the other hand, poor outdoor air quality could also increase the risk of having lung diseases like asthma, for the chemicals and dusts contain in the airs. As a result, we learned these threatens that air pollution could bring to us, so we should be alert and focus on these environmental problems and also pay attention to the other pollutions that may hurt us, like the soil one.
