The medicine, made up of the basic building materials of life, will build new brain cells, heart cells, and so on—in much the same way our bodies make new skin cells to take the place of old ones.

西式游记是我国四大名著之一。作者是吴承恩凭借历史神话，张开想象的翅膀，故事跌宕起伏，令人百读不厌！
我在国庆大假初读了这本名著，加之平时爱看《西游记》的电视连续剧，让我对这个神话故事有了个大概的了解。
先谈生死相随唐僧西天取经的三个徒弟吧！
大徒弟叫孙悟空，本领非凡一个跟斗可翻十万八千里，他有一双火眼金睛能认识变化多端的妖魔鬼怪；一根金箍棒伸缩自如；它胆大包天，甚至大闹天空时玉帝也怕它三分哩！唐僧取经千难万险，每次都化险为夷，多亏大智大勇的孙悟空。
但它有时候猴性大发，要管教它只有靠紧箍咒了！总之，它是唐僧取经成功的第一个大功臣。
二徒弟叫猪八戒，是一个肥头大耳、好色贪吃的丑八怪，但也傻得可爱。
它是因为经常到广寒宫调戏嫦娥才被玉帝把他变丑，下凡帮助唐僧取经的。但它本性难移发生了一连串的趣事傻事。
三徒弟叫沙僧，是一个任劳任怨，诚实守信的人，默默奉献，从不张扬，令人可敬！
最后才谈主角唐僧。这个白面书生，标准帅哥，却志存高远，立志西天取经，不达目的誓不罢休，最终修成了正果。
心地善良的唐僧每每被妖精所骗而屡次赶走悟空，而他当遇难性命攸关时，都是大慈大悲的观音大士令悟空火速解救！唐僧师徒依靠团队合力，经历了九九八十一难，终于大功告成！
它给我们的启示是路在脚下，有志者事竟成！就是这本书的真经！
