这时someone other than you是个不定代词指"除了你之外的其他人".
other than 有两种意思,一是"不同于,非" 例:
The truth is quite other than what you think.事实与你想的不一样.
I do not wish her other than what she is.我不希望她改变自己.
二是除了
She can hardly be other than grateful.她除了感激还能怎样呢.
