在生产过程中，不仅要耗费劳动资料和劳动对象，而且还要耗费劳动者的劳动。产品成本是补偿价值的尺度，降低产品成本是补偿价值的减少，是为社会劳动创造剩余产品价值的增加。产品成本降低得越多，企业利润就增加得越多。这样，就可以为企业和国家的财富增加积累，保证人民物质文化生活水平的不断提高。论文首先解释了产品成本的的经济内容，其次，讲明了影响产品成本变动的宏观和微观因素，理解了降低产品成本的意义，最后，着重阐述了降低产品成本的途径，主要有：树立成本管理概念，实行全员成本管理和全过程的成本控制；重视信息管理，建立信息沟通体系；合理配置和使用资源；实行成本否决，加强绩效考核；提高劳动生产率；采购成本控制；降低材料消耗；加大现有设备的技术改造力度，提高生产设备的利用程度；提高产品质量，减少废品损失；控制制造费用等。

The paper first explained product cost the economicalcontent, next, clarified influence product cost change macroscopic andmicroscopic factor, had understood reduces the product cost thesignificance, finally, emphatically elaborated reduces the productcost the way, including: Sets up the cost management concept,implements the whole staff cost management and the entire process costcontrol; The value information management, establishes the informationcommunication system; Reasonable disposition and use resources; Theimplementation cost overrules, strengthens the achievementsinspection; Enhances the labor productivity; Purchase cost control;Reduces the material consumption; Enlarges the existing equipmenttechnological transformations dynamics, enhances the productionequipment the degree of utilization; Improves the product quality,reduces the loss through wastage; Control factory expense and so on.
