A man is very pessimistic, because the water in the bottle is becoming less and less, but the other is very optimistic.
confront是动词，应改为介词
attitudes to对……的态度
水有更好的吗？所以，不用the better part of
be lost失去，不能用be losing，改为is becoming less and less
因为只有两个人，所以，用the other，且不用one了。
译：
在上图中是两个人面对障碍的不同态度。
一个人很悲观，因为瓶子里的水越来越少，但另一个人却很乐观。
