mike是个小男孩，他讨厌肥皂和水。他妈妈每天提醒他三四次“mike，你的手又脏了，去洗洗”。但是mike从没有洗干净过。他只是把他的手在水里泡几分钟就拿出来了。mike的叔叔和阿姨住在另外一个城市。一天他们来探望mike一家，他们带来了他们的小儿子ted。ted比mike小一岁，同样也不喜欢肥皂和水。ted和长辈们在一起坐了几分钟后，就和mike一起出去了。当两个小男孩单独在一起的时候，mike看着ted的手大声说：“我的手比你的脏”“那是当然了”ted生气地说“你还比我大一岁呢”
