第二页 具体活动安排：周六早上，我们集体乘车从学校出发，前往第一个目的地，司马台长城。司马台长城位于北京市密云县，距北京120公里。全长5.4公里，堪称万里长城的精华。周围风光无限，有四百多年的历史，1987年被列入世界遗产名录，属国家级重点文物保护单位。大家要互相鼓励，互相帮助，力争都能登上长城。

我的英语也不是特别高的水平，尤其翻译。可是好歹我是科班出身，又在外企上班，呵呵，比你这多年未碰英语的大研究生强点，我尽力给你翻翻，你仅参考奥。
我的意见，这是在你全班同学面前说的话，就尽量简单点，让大家都听懂行吗？用的口气是不太formal的，行吗？

I believe we are going to spend a very special and brilliant weekend together. As we all know, that place is located in Miyun country of Beijing and about 120 kilometers far from Beijing city. The longevity of simatai-greatwall is 5.4 lilometers, so it is really qualified to be called the pith and marrow (京华的意思，用pride代替也可) of the Great wall. With the history of more than 400 years—at least older than everyone here, right?—it is listed as one of the world's legacies in 1987. Besides, the place is the State-level key units of cultural relics protection. The view there is very pleasant there. We should help each other to climb on the great wall. There is a famous saying: He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man.(就是非好汉那句). And I believe everyone of us will become a trueman or truewoman….
